"In compliance with the “Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People,” the Diocese of Lansing has established policies and procedures for all employees and volunteers. These procedures require Background Checks, Volunteer Profiles and Code of Ethics to be signed by anyone who is providing services to children.
The following are the requirements to be a volunteer at St. Paul Church and School:
Completion of the Background Check Form. This must also be turned in to the School Office.
Review the flowchart and determine what training you must attend. Flowchart for School Employees or Volunteers.
Register and attend the Protecting God’s Children Workshop. Live sessions will be offered at St. Paul and other locations around the diocese.
If you want to take the "Protecting God's Children" class online, click here for instructions. Employees must attend a live session.
Once you have completed the class, turn in your certificate to the School Office.
We are looking for energetic and motivated substitute teachers to work with students at all levels, from Kindergarten to 5th Grade. We will place you on our sub-call list and call as the need arises.
The qualified candidate has a love of children, has at least 90 college credits, and appreciates the need for flexibility.
