Hello, I am Teresa Bischof and I will be teaching Middle School Mathematics and Science. I currently live in Grand Blanc but am originally from Ft. Wayne, Indiana. I attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, where I simultaneously earned two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Chemical Engineering and one in Chemistry. I worked as an Applications Engineer until I became a stay-at-home mother. My son, Nicholas, is a Freshman at Kettering University studying Engineering. My daughter, Alyssa, is a Junior at Powers Catholic High School. They both attended St. Robert Bellarmine School in Flushing, MI. While being a mother, I received my Secondary Teaching Certification from Saginaw Valley State University with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Chemistry. I was unable to find a teaching position in a parochial school and therefore acquired an Applications Engineer position in Madison Heights. Due to product elimination, two engineers and I were laid off and I began substitute teaching primarily at St. Robert. That led me here just over 2 years ago!!! This is therefore my third year teaching and I couldn’t be more excited!!!
I enjoy spending time with my family. My daughter’s travel soccer team moves us all around Michigan. I love to boat, fish, ski, tube, and swim….anything to do with water! My mother still lives in Ft. Wayne. My father, unfortunately, passed 12 years ago. I have an older brother, older sister, younger brother and 8 nieces and nephews.
At St. Paul Catholic School, we strive for excellence in faith and academics. Our mission is to be a loving and forgiving community who receives our Lord Jesus Christ and reflects His teachings. God is our focus and Heaven our goal.
