As with all of our traditions, this special recognition of Mary will look different this year. Fortunately, we have a beautiful statue of Mary located on the grounds between St. Paul School and the St. Paul Parish offices.
Please take the time to visit this statue with your child or family and place a flower or two at the statue and take some time to say some prayers. Then take a photo and send it to me. I will share these all month on the school social media sites. In addition, the Diocese has shared these opportunities to recognize Mary.
This year Pope Francis has invited all Catholics to turn to Mary and “rediscover the beauty of praying the Rosary at home”. Click on this link for more information.
In the Diocese of Lansing, we invite you to enter into 24 Hours with Mary’. Bishop Boyea will reconsecrate the Diocese of Lansing to Mary at 3:00 pm on Friday along with all the other Bishops of the United States. Bishop Boyea will also participate in a crowning of Mary at St. Patrick parish, Brighton at 2:00 pm on Saturday. Please join us in praying the Rosary during this 24 hours between these two events.
