Hello! Welcome to the St. Paul's Catholic School website and to my class page. I pray you like what our school has to offer. Please let me just offer a brief introduction of myself that will hopefully help you understand who your child's teacher is or might be.
After graduating from the University of Michigan I began teaching in August 1998 at Lake City High School. I taught social studies there for one year before moving home to New Lothrop and teaching at Elizabeth Ann Johnson High School in Mt. Morris where I taught 9 years. There I taught US History, World History, many social studies electives, and English classes for all grades. In 2008, I left the classroom to become a stay-at-home mom and eventually decided to homeschool our now 4 children for 10 years. Though many times we had tremedous struggles I consider those years a wonderful time in our family's journey. February of 2019 God began to unfold His plan to bring me to St. Paul & have our kids in school. It was truly awesome and humbly to watch it all unfold. Now we are all feeling stretched in our new roles, but also so very blessed to be led to the school homes we have been led to. I pray daily for our current families and for the future families. I believe God has already chosen the families for our school and the Holy Spirit is at work. If He is nudging you I pray you listen the teachers here have been amazing with our girls!
